How to cosplay the 11th Doctor, part 1 of 2
The 11th Doctor. A "madman in a box", as he called himself. An old man stuck in a body that looks infinitely younger than he actually is. Today, we are going to learn how to dress up as the 11th Doctor (obviously). So let's begin! The Tweed Jackets Throughout his tenure as the Doctor, Matt Smith mostly wore a brown tweed jacket. Now, for cosplayers on a budget, any of these is fine, but for people interested in detail, he wore 3 types of tweed jackets. 1. The Donegal Tweed (series 5) This is the first jacket the 11th Doctor wore on-screen. It has blackish leather elbow patches and brown leather football buttons. 2. The Harris Tweed (series 5) This is a somewhat lighter jacket, compared to the Donegal one (though this colour difference is not seen in the pictures). It has dark brown leather elbow patches. 3.
